This list contains suggestions on how to start your travel first aid kit. Preparation is a vital component of a safe and enjoyable travel experience.

o Bug-repellent spray/ Deet wipes

o Insect bite anti-itch gel or cream (Benadryl cream)

o Sunscreen

o Pain and fever reducer -Acetaminophen, Ibuprofen (Tylenol, Motrin) 

o Antihistamine/Allergy relief - (Benadryl, Zyrtec, Claritin tablet)

o Decongestant โ€“ (Sudafed, Afrin nasal spray, saline nasal spray)

o Multi-symptom anti-diarrhea, gas, cramps, heartburn, nausea, upset stomach (Pepto Bismol, Imodium)

o Upset stomach (Tums)

o topical antibiotics (Neosporin, Antiseptic to-go spray (0.26fl oz)

o Eye drops Lubricant, Redness Reliever

o Cough suppressant, oral anesthetic drops, Vapor Rub

o Pain cream (Biofreeze)

o Single packets of Purell

o Thermometer

o Pulse oximeter

o (2) gallon freezer bags (to fill with ice)

o Bandage (Ace, Band-Aid)

o Gloves, tweezers, small scissors. Note: The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) limits the amount of liquids, gels, and aerosols that can be packed in a carry-on bag to 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) or less per container.
